He is the son of Dynamic hero Yunasamrat Akkineni Nagarjuna, he is the Grandson of Evergreen Hero Akkineni Nageswara Rao and producer and Movie Moghal Dr. D. Rama Naidu. His debut film was Josh (2009) which won him the prestigious Filmfare award (south-2009) and Nandi award (2009) as best Actor on debut. He continued as a hero in the film Ye maya Chesave released in 2010. 100% Love, Dhada, Bezawada were his films released in 2011.
