Actress Taapsee is a well known face in Tollywood with her unique curly hair and dimple on her cheek . She is a model turned actress. Her full name is Taapsee Pannu and she was born on August 1st 1987 in New Delhi into a Punjabi Sikh family. She did her schooling at the Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi and completed her graduation in computer science engineering from the Gure Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology in New Delhi. Then she worked as a software engineer and developed ‘fontswap’ an application for I Phone. She became model after she was selected for Channel V talent show ‘Get Gorgeous’.As a model she endorsed brands like Reliance Trends, Red FM, UniStyle Image, Coca-cola, Motorola, Dabur, Airtel and many more.
Taapsee debuted in Tollywood in 2010 with K.Raghavendra Rao’s romantic musical entertainer ‘Jummandi Naadam’ .She was paired with Manchu Manoj in this movie and even before this film got released, Taapsee got another three offers in Telugu movies. Her next film was ‘Vastadu Naa Raju’ opposite Manchu Vishnu. Then she acted alongside Prabhas in Mr.Perfect .She even won several titles during modeling including ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face’ and ‘Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin’.
Her first film in Tamil is ‘Aadukalam’ and she was paired with Dhanush in this movie in which her role was appreciated . She also made her Bollywood debut through ‘Chasme Gaddoor’.
