The cherubic Hansika Motwani is a well known face to tollywood audience with her gorgeous looks and milky white complexion making it more appealing .
She was born in Mangalore to Mr.Pradeep Motwani who is a business man and Mona Motwani, who is a dermatologist in 1991 August 9th, she has a brother named Prashant Motwani. Her mother tongue is Sindhi. Her schooling was done in Podar International School, Mumbai.
Acting was a part of her life since childhood. Hansika started her acting career at an early age as a child artist. Hansika has done several ad films and television serials for Samsung, Pepsi and Bournvita.She even appeared in the Hyundai Santro ad with Shahrukh Khan.She began her television career with a serial called Shaka Laka Boom Boom, she later acted in the serial’ Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand’, for which she received the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. She acted as a child artist in Juhi Chawla and Govinda starrer movie ‘Yahoo’ and even in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ acting in Super Six with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.
Hansika made her film debut as a leading actress in the Telugu movie ‘Desamuduru’ in 2007 opposite Allu Arjun which was a big hit for which she won the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Debut-South.She worked in several high-budget Telugu films , including ‘Kantri ‘and ‘Maska’. She acted in some Hindi movies and many Tamil movies among some were commercially successful movies like ‘Velayudham’, ’Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ and ‘Settai’
Her latest release was ‘Denikaina Ready’ opposite Vishnu Manchu which also earned a positive response from the public. Her upcoming movies are’ Something Something’ and ‘Biriyani’ in Telugu .’Vaalu’, ’Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru’, ‘Biriyani’, ’Vettai Mannan’, ’Singam 2’ in Tamil and ‘He-The Only One’ in Hindi.

She won TV Child Artiste of the Year from Indian Telly Awards for acting in the serial Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand.
She won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in South for Desamuduru
She won SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant Actress in Tamil for Mappillai.
And SIIMA Award for Special Appreciation as Actress in Telugu for Kandireega
She also won Chennai Times Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Female – Mappillai
Edison Award for Best Actress for Oru Kal Oru Kannadi
