Overview

A man gets a chance to become a police constable but finds his life endangered by corrupt politicians, gangsters, and senior police officers. Based in a village in Andhra Pradesh, Marthandi Subhas Chandra Bose lives an impoverished lifestyle with his parents and sister, Gayetri. His efforts to find employment are frustrated as he cannot afford to bribe his prospective employer while dreaming of becoming a police officer. When village elder, Balram, asks him to travel to Hyderabad to meet the MLA, he does so along with Gayetri and some friends - but ends up in a violent clash - while Gayetri is sexually molested by a police inspector and the MLA himself. When Bose rescues her, the MLA shoots him, misses, hits Gayetri instead and she loses her voice.
