On his father's death anniversary, Goutham self-injects drugs which is noticed by the mother for the first time. She suspects the behavior and confirms the same when she locks him up in the room for some time. Goutham Pleads mercy and expresses the urge to consume drugs and threatens to end his life if he is not let free. On opening the door, he literally pushes his mother aside causing head injury and due to which she is hospitalized.
