Overview

TIP is an intense anger-fueled drama set in the back kitchen of a U.S. Indian restaurant. The story revolves around 3 illegal immigrant workers, who get into a heated argument over splitting a $300 tip left by a generous American customer. Anger, revenge, and pain are very strong and powerful emotions. Three lead characters in TIP go through these phases and take turns being the protagonists and antagonists of the film. Raju (33) works as a manager in an Indian restaurant and shares his room with three software developers, who disrespect Raju for his profession. One day, this affects him deeply, but instead of venting his anger immediately, he takes it with him to his workplace. There, he notices Naresh (22), a newcomer, not following the rules. So he vents his anger by abusing Naresh in front of everyone in the kitchen. Naresh, now overwhelmed with pain, tries to share his feelings with Thatha (55), a veteran who works there.
