He did his schooling in Hyderabad.
Earlier he worked as an assistant director for Srinu Vaitla and Bapu.

He started his film career as a hero with Indraganti Mohan Krishna’s film “Ashta Chamma” released in 2008. Colors Swathi was paired opposite to him. It was a big hit.
