A Heartwarming Tale Awaits: “Illu” to Stream on ETV Win from 14th June 14
Inspired by Ramanaidu and Ramoji Rao, I Stepped into Production: “Illu” Producer Kishore Maarisetti
Manohara Arts and ETV Win have jointly presented Illu, a heartfelt drama produced by Kishore Marisetti and directed by Rohit and Shashi. Featuring music by Vivek Sagar, cinematography by Shashank Raghavula, and editing by Avanti Ruia, the film stars Harshavardhan and Bindu Chandramouli in pivotal roles, alongside Anish Kuruvilla, Pawan Ramesh, Camp Sashi, and others. Ahead of its streaming premiere on ETV Win from 14th June, the makers organized an exclusive screening and press meet for the media.
Actor-director Rahul Ravindran, who attended the event as a special guest, praised the film, saying, “Presenting a simple story in a natural and beautiful manner is a very difficult task. Illu achieves that effortlessly and offers a deeply calming and soulful experience. I am sure audiences will connect with it when it starts streaming on June 14.”
Actress Bindu Chandramouli expressed her happiness about being part of the project. “I have known directors Rohit and Shashi for a long time, and I thank them for giving me this opportunity. This role is quite different from the performances we usually do. When I first watched Illu, I was left speechless because of how beautifully it was made. I absolutely loved it. Vivek Sagar’s music is extraordinary and adds so much depth to the narrative. My thanks to Kishore garu, ETV Win, Harshavardhan garu, and the entire team,” she said.
Actor Anish Kuruvilla shared his appreciation for the filmmakers and platform. “I have known Rohit and Shashi for many years and have closely observed their passion and dedication. I am grateful to ETV Win for encouraging talented filmmakers like them. Being part of such a natural and realistic story is a privilege. This is only the beginning for stories of this kind, and I am delighted to be associated with the film,” he said.
Director Rohit spoke about the creative process behind the project. “We approached this film with great care and sincerity. In today’s times, telling a small, intimate story and making it resonate with audiences is something special. A few days before the shoot, I had certain doubts, but watching the film Perfect Days completely changed my perspective and inspired me to move forward with confidence,” he explained.
Producer Kishore Marisetti revealed the inspiration behind stepping into production. “Earlier, through Manohara Arts, we produced the project Rani for Aha and have also been associated with films. The biggest inspirations behind my journey as a producer are the legendary D. Ramanaidu garu and Ramoji Rao garu. Though I entered the industry as an artist, I learned a great deal about filmmaking and production over the years. Bringing fresh and meaningful content to audiences gives me immense satisfaction. When this project came to me, I immediately believed in the directors’ vision. Their unique storytelling style impressed me greatly. Having an experienced actor like Harshavardhan on board and the support of Vivek Sagar’s music added tremendous strength to the film. I thank the entire team for their dedication and hard work.”
Illu is set to premiere exclusively on ETV Win on 14th June , promising audiences a touching and authentic cinematic experience rooted in simplicity, emotion, and human relationships.
