Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, has officially been rescheduled from its earlier release date of June 4, 2026. The makers confirmed that the film will now hit theatres worldwide on a new date, to be announced soon.

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the decision comes after the film’s impressive reception at CinemaCon, where it garnered strong interest from global distributors and industry stakeholders.

The overwhelmingly positive response has opened doors for a much larger international rollout, prompting the team to realign their release strategy and focus on securing global distribution partnerships.

In a detailed statement, Yash shared that Toxic is a special project that deserves to reach audiences worldwide at its full potential. He emphasized that the team is taking extra time to ensure the film is presented on a global scale with maximum impact, calling it a proud moment for Indian cinema.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, who also directs the film, Toxic promises a layered narrative blending action with psychological depth.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

Shot in Kannada and English, the film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. With its global ambitions and strong buzz, Toxic remains one of the most anticipated pan-India films, with a new release date expected soon.
