Producers Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly Interview

Satyabhama will be a benchmark film in heroineoriented films: Producers Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly

The Queen of Masses, Kajal Aggarwal, is playing the lead role in Satyabhama. Naveen Chandra plays the pivotal role of Amarender. This film is produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the banner of Aurum Arts. Director Sashikiran Tikka, known for Major, acts as presenter and presented the screenplay. Satyabhama is a crime thriller directed by Suman Chikkala, set for a grand theatrical release on the 7th of this month. Producers Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly highlighted key aspects of the movie during an interview today.

Sashikiran Tikka, director of major films, is Bobby Tikkas brother. We ventured into production after being involved in the industry for some time. Satyabhama marks our debut under the banner of Aurum Arts. Our goal is to deliver compelling content to audiences while providing opportunities to emerging talents. Suman, our director, makes his debut with this film. We identified singers from music bands and granted them opportunities to perform two songs.

Although we didnt collaborate on Sashis films, he often consulted my father and me. We shared some ideas. Following the completion of Major, we decided to establish our own production house. We believed that having our own banner would enable us to bring our preferred stories to the screen and leverage our distribution experience.

When we conceptualized Satyabhama, we considered three or four options for the heroine. Kajal was our initial choice. Upon hearing the story, she immediately agreed. Typically, she takes a few days to respond, but this time, she expressed her enthusiasm right away. Kajal shared our excitement for the storyline. Naveen Chandra embraced his significant role enthusiastically.

The storyline of Satyabhama draws inspiration from a real incident that occurred in the UK around twenty years ago. However, we adapted the narrative to our cultural context. When we announced Satyabhama, some questioned why we were pursuing a heroineoriented film instead of a herocentric one. We believe Kajals performance in Satyabhama is remarkable. An elderly viewer described it not as a heroineoriented film but as one with heroism. Any character could assume the role of the hero in our story, but the highlight is the womans achievement of an extraordinary feat. Sashi shared our perspective.

Mythri Movie Makers will handle the Nizam area release of Satyabhama, while Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments will oversee the release in AP. Mythri Ravi has been a consistent supporter. The film has secured excellent theater placements and a strong international release. Weve finalized our OTT partner.

The female members of the censor board praised Satyabhama. Additionally, were incorporating the She Safe app, which has seen 5,000 downloads, into the film. Were inviting the women who has the app and their families to a special screening. Sashi is occupied with his projects, but we aim to feature his stories under Aurum Arts. Sricharans classical music has elevated the cinematic experience.

Kajal provided invaluable support during filming. Her acknowledgment of Aurum Arts as her own banner brought us immense joy. Our primary focus is to make Satyabhama a success in Telugu before considering other languages or a panIndian audience for future projects.
