Tollywood Costume Designer Asmita Marwa : 

  Asmita Marwa is a very popular fashion designer in India. She was born as Asmita Gunti on February 6th at Hyderabad. She was married to Harvesh Marwa and has a son Karan Aryaman Marwa. She is rated as one of the nine top-upcoming international designers by Vogue. She started her career as designer in Tollywood two decades back. She is the first Tollywood Fashion Designer from Hyderabad. She designed costumes for many big stars like Nagarjuna, Bala Krishna, Mahesh Babu,Preity Zinta, Tabu,Charmee Kaur,Anushka Shetty,Anjala Zaveri,Shriya and Asin. She designed costumes for movies like “Manmadhudu” and “Santosham” movies which were trend setters for the stylish looks and even the costumes. Basically she is the trend setter for the styles in Tollywood especially for the Male actors. She says that according to her Ram Charan is very stylish in Tollywood. In December 2003 she has launched a Fashion Label Asmita and she is retailing the costumes through her signature at the stores like “XLNC” and “Reves d’Etoile” at Hyderabad. She even has at ‘Aza’ in Mumbai, Delhi, Banglore and Chennai. She says that dresses can never go out of Fashion. Her collections was displayed in the ‘Blenders Pride’ Fashion Frindge show in 2004.She participated in Lakme Fashion Week in 2008. She was a writer for the Fashion Column for the popular news paper ‘Hyderabad Times’.  Her designs are very unique and trendy. She designed costumes for the movies like ‘Premante Idera’, ‘Manmadhudu’, ‘Santosham’, ‘Arjun’, ‘Athadu’, ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Gharshana’.

She is very successful costume designer in Tollywood and even in India.
