Director Dasari Narayana Raos birth anniversary will be celebrated on May 4th as Directors Day by the Telugu Film Directors Association. Directors Day has been celebrated four times so far, and this year marks the fifth grand celebration at Hyderabads LB Stadium. The details of this event were outlined during the Directors Associations press meet.

Director Veera Shankar shared, We celebrated the birth anniversary of Director Dasari Narayanarao for the first time at FNCC. Directors like Anil Ravipudi and Harish Shankar performed skits and contributed to the programs success, with Raghavendra Rao and Chiranjeevi attending as guests. Due to the pandemic, Directors Day was not celebrated for two years. Afterward, we organized the program again at FNCC. Now, for the fifth time, we are organizing Directors Day on a grand scale at LB Stadium. This is the first time the ceremony will be held in a stadium. Through this event, we aim to raise funds for initiatives like midday meals, construction of a new building for the association, and financial assistance for elderly directors. We have established a cultural committee to manage the program, including directors like Anil Ravipudi, Siva Nirvana, Nandini Reddy, Anudeep KV, and Vijay Kanakamedala. We expect up to 15,000 people to participate in this program. Its a pleasure to contribute 10 lakh rupees from the Baby Producer Directors Association. We invite everyone from the film industry to this event.

Director Nandini Reddy remarked, This time, we are organizing Directors Day in a grand manner. I was surprised to hear the details of this event. It will be a benchmark event for the Telugu Directors Association. No matter how busy, I want everyone to participate in this program.

Director Sai Rajesh commented, Directors Day celebrations on May 4th, marking Director Ratna Dasaris birth anniversary, will be grand. This program will mark a new era for the Telugu Film Directors Association. Hearing about this event, top directors like Trivikram and Sukumar have shown their support. Were meeting every hero in the industry, encouraging them to bring their families to the LB Stadium celebrations. Organizing such a significant event for the welfare of our association members is a joy.

Director Shiva Nirvana said, Veera Shankar called me about the Directors Day event. He was very happy when explaining the purpose of this program. Not every director has a successful career; some face financial difficulties. We plan to use the funds from this program to support such individuals. All directors are coming together, and we request everyone in the industry to participate in Directors Day.

Director Raja Vannemreddy stated, The current committee of our Directors Association is highly active. We also provide health insurance for our members families. Were planning a grand Directors Day program, which has Lord Dasaris blessings.

Director Vashishta mentioned, We aim to make the Directors Day celebrations as grand as the past Vajrotsavams. Our President Veera Shankar and General Secretary Subbareddy are organizing everyone efficiently. We were saddened that our associations program wasnt progressing like those in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This time, were also planning to celebrate Directors Day grandly with this event.
