The Best of Indian Cinema Film Festival 2014 Held in Hyderabad
The Best of Indian Cinema Film Festival 2014 was hosted by the Doordarshan in Hyderabad on the 12th and 13th July 2014 where many film lovers, film institute students and media were present at the event.
During this two day festival six internationally acclaimed films “KHARGOSH” (Hindi), “ORUTHTHI” (Tamil), “YENNING AMADI LIKLA” (Manipuri),Mee Srayobhilashi(Telugu), One More(Hindi), Herbert(Hindi) were screened. As part of the programme a quiz was conducted where the winners were awarded with exciting prizes.
Anitha Sinha, Addnl Director General of National Doordarshan talking to the media said the response was tremendous and encouraging to see such good participation from film lovers, students of media institutions and co-operation from the media.
This is the second The Best of Indian Cinema film festival hosted by Doordarshan in Hyderabad after Delhi. She further said “Doordarshan being a public service broadcaster is now competing with top channels at the National and all regional levels.
M. Sailaja Suman, Deputy director general of of Doordarshan Hyderabad thanked the media for promoting the event. She said “It’s a rare opportunity to have the directors with their films screened in the film festivals, that too with message oriented movies and interact with the audiences.
