V.B.Rajendra Prasad is a Telugu Film director and producer. Rajendra Prasad born in an agricultural family of Dokiparru village, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh on 4th November 1932 He has one elder brother Mr.Krishna Prasad. He completed his Secondary Education at Pammura village. He was interested in acting and wanted to become a hero. His father gave him 50,000/- and asked him to fulfil his dream. In 1958 he shifted to Madras to become a hero. He struggled a lot to get offers in the movies. No Producer was not ready to offer him a hero role. Then he dropped the idea of becoming hero and started producing movies. He started his own Production House under the banner “Jagapathi Art Productions His first movie as producer was “Annapoorna”. He made a series of good family oriented pictures with Sobhan Babu, ANR. He has produced 25 movies in Telugu, 3 movies in Tamil and 3 movies in Hindi. He even directed few films. His debut movie as director was”Dasara Bullodu” in the year 1971. The present actor Jagapathi Babu is his son.
