The trend of Multistarer Telugu movies restarted with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Producer took a daring step in making Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu with Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Prakash Raj and many more under the direction of Srikanth Addala.

This movie has been made with village backdrop. The entire story revolves around a middle class family life style in a village. This movie is a new trend setter. This is a high family drama with great emotions and the togetherness of two brothers handling the situations in a joint family in a village.

Relangi is a small village wherein Relangi Mavayya (Prakash Raj) leads a simple life with his wife played by Jayasudha. Relangi Mavayya is belives in strong human relationships. He has two sons, Peddodu (Venkatesh) and Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu) and a daughter (Abhinaya).

Seetha (Anjali) who lost parents lives with her uncle Relangi Mavayya.

Relangi Mavayya’s brother (Rao Ramesh) is very rich and has a daughter Geetha (Samantha). Rao Ramesh is jealous about the kind heartedness of Prakash Raj and his popularity in village. He treats him badly for  his poor financial status. Venkatesh has has developed strong negative feeling on his uncle.

Mahesh Babu likes and loves Samantha.

Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh are very close and affectionate brothers.

The story runs how they come off the situations and how Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu marry Samantha and Anjali.

The strong script and the way it is presented on the screen is a plus point in the movie. Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh lived in the role of close and affectionate brothers as if as brothers in real life. Prakash Raj in his usual self presented his character well on the screen. Jayasudha did justice to the role she played. Samantha and Anjali presented the best performance.

Dookudu, Businessman are great commercial hits of Mahesh Babu with more commercial elements. This movie is a different story and did justice. To be precise Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu presented improved action in the movie. All others in support roles did their best.

Director Srikanth Addala has presented the story in a decent and impressive way. The selection of actors for the roles should be appreciated.

Full marks to Cinematographer Guhan who handled the camera well to entreaties the viewers.

Mickey J Meyer has scored the music to suit the actors and the situations in the movie.

Marthand Venkatesh added good flavour to the story with good editing.

Dil Raju, the producer has risked or ventured with multistars and surely it is going to get him fame and money. One should thank the producer for presenting to Tollywood a neat family entertainer.

This a must see movie with family.

A good Sankranthi gift by Dil Raju.
