Trailer for Pawan Kalyan’s “OG” Ready for Release

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s OG, set to release  on 27th September, is highly anticipated by fans. After a hiatus, Pawan Kalyan is returning with an original film directed by Sujeeth, known for his work on Saaho. In a recent interview, Sujeeth shared that this gangster action drama will include a significant amount of Japanese cultural references.

Sujeeth explained, “I’m an avid viewer of Japanese films, and Kalyan Garu shares this passion. In fact, he named his son Akira after the renowned Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The title OG stands for Ojaas Gambhira, with Ojaas meaning master and Gambhira being the protagonist’s name. It also stands for Original Gangster.”

He added, “I’ve observed that Kalyan Garu has always included Japanese references in his films, even when they didn’t necessarily fit. In OG, these elements are organically woven into the script rather than being intentionally added. The trailer is also ready.”

Previously, Sujeeth gave fans a sneak peek that went viral, and now everyone is eagerly awaiting the next release from the team.

The film features an ensemble cast including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Harish Uthaman, Abhimanyu Singh, and Ajay Ghosh. Produced by D.V.V. Danayya under DVV Entertainment, OG’s music is composed by Thaman S, with cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Naveen Nooli.
