Mahesh Babu In Another Multistarrer
Its already known that Mahesh Babu was supposed to do a historical movie “Ponniyin Selvan” with Manirathnam. But unfortunately the movie couldn’t go ahead due to various reasons unknown. And more recently there were various speculations doing rounds that both are said to be keen on working together again.
Bringing all the speculations floating in the media about Mahesh Babu doing a film with Manirathnam to rest, sources close to the actor have revealed that indeed ace director Manirathnam has approached Mahesh Babu with the script for a multi starrer which is going to be a bi-lingual made simultaneously in Telugu & Tamil.
To add more icing to this already exciting news is the fact that the other actor in this multi starrer is none other than Nagarjuna Akkineni with whom Manirathnam had earlier made ‘Geethanjali’ way back in 1989. Manirathnam has reportedly narrated the story line to Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu and in an interview to a leading daily, Nagarjuna has ascertained this story and said that both are keen to work together and that its really nice to get to work with Manirathnam again.
A.R.Rahman is speculated to be scoring music, which is said to be a co-production on Manirathnam’s Madras Talkies with Annapurna Studios.
